License Terms Explained

At Moyo Studio, we offer flexible licensing options designed to meet the needs of freelancers, small agencies, and growing businesses. Our mockups and design assets are crafted to help you present your work with the same level of care and intention you put into your creations. To ensure that our assets are used fairly and correctly, we’ve created the following tiered licensing options:

Standard License – “Single-Client Use”

This is our base license, ideal for solo designers, freelancers, and small agencies working on a single client project.

What’s included:

• Use the mockup or template for one client’s project (whether for marketing, presentations, social media, etc.).
• Unlimited use for personal portfolio or self-promotion (e.g., showcase on your website or social media).
• One license per client project. Each new client requires a separate license.

What’s not included:

• Redistribution of the original files - you may not share the source files with your client.
• Resale of the mockup itself or incorporation into any product for resale (e.g., templates, merchandise, or items for sale).
• Creation of derivative products - you may not edit and resell Moyo templates or use them as the base for new design products (e.g., Canva templates, mockups, digital assets for resale).
• Use of Moyo assets within any editable template product (e.g., Canva templates, Showit themes, or website builders) that will be shared, distributed, or sold to others.
• Use of Moyo imagery in standalone printed or digital artwork (e.g., posters, prints, or art files) for resale or distribution - including print-on-demand services.

Example use case: You use the mockup to create branded social media posts for a client. Once that project is done, if you take on another client, you’ll need a new license for the next project.

Extended License – “Multi-Clients & Commercial Use”

The Extended License is perfect for designers or agencies who need the flexibility to use mockups and templates for multiple client projects without having to buy a new license for each one. It’s also ideal for creators and entrepreneurs who want to incorporate Moyo’s mockups into digital products (with restrictions) they intend to sell or distribute widely.

What’s included:

• Unlimited use for multiple client projects, meaning you can reuse the assets across any number of campaigns or clients without purchasing a new license.
• Use for client marketing such as paid ads, social media promotions, websites, and more.
• Unlimited exposure, including ads, print runs, and digital marketing.
• Use the mockups in digital products for resale, such as courses, presentations, or paid resources - where Moyo assets are used in context and not editable by the end user.
• Unlimited use for creating products you sell or distribute to your customers.

What’s not included:

• Redistribution of source files - you cannot share the original files with your clients or in the digital products.
• Direct resale of the mockup/images/templates files themselves - the assets must be incorporated into a larger product, not sold as-is.
• Creation of derivative products - you may not edit and resell Moyo templates or use them as the base for new design products (e.g., Canva templates, mockups, digital assets for resale).
• Use of Moyo assets inside editable templates (e.g., website templates, Canva templates, or digital products) that are intended to be edited and reused by others.
• Use of Moyo imagery in standalone printed or digital artwork (e.g., posters, prints, or art files) for resale or distribution - including print-on-demand services.

Example use case 1: You run a small design studio and create assets for several different clients. With the Extended License, you can use the same mockup across all these client projects without needing to buy a new license each time.

Example use case 2: You design a template-based PDF resource or create visuals for an online course that includes a Moyo mockup. As long as the end-user cannot extract or reuse the mockup, the Extended License covers this use.

How Licensing Works

Choose Your License
Select the license tier that suits your needs. If you're working on one client project, go with the Standard License. For multiple clients or resale products, choose the Extended License.

Pay Once, Use for Your Project
Once you purchase your license, you can use the asset for the allowed purposes. For Standard and Extended licenses, each new client or project requires a new license.

Support & Updates
All licenses come with access to customer support and any future updates to the asset you’ve purchased. We’re here to help you get the most out of your Moyo resources.

Important: What You Can’t Do With Any License

To protect the integrity of our work and your experience with it:

• You cannot resell, redistribute, or share the original files - even with clients.
• You cannot use our mockups or templates to create your own design assets for resale (e.g. Canva templates, mockups, digital kits, etc.).
• You cannot edit or repackage our products and sell them as your own.
• You cannot include our assets in any editable product or template intended for others to use - even if modified.
• You cannot use our assets in standalone printed or digital artwork (e.g., posters, art prints, downloadable prints) for resale, distribution, or print-on-demand.

In plain terms: Buying a Moyo product doesn't give you permission to turn it into your own template. Whether it’s a Canva file, a website mockup, or a design kit - if you’re sharing it for others to edit, that’s not allowed.
