Duplicating Paper / Designs

If you wish to have more than 1 of the same paper size, for example you want to show two 4x9 paper sizes but each show a different design you will need to follow these steps.

1. Duplicate the folder group you want by Right Click/ CTRL + click on the folder group and selecting ‘Duplicate Group’.

2. Next you will need to duplicate the ‘ Add Design Here’ layer highlighted red by Right Click/ CTRL + click on the layer and selecting ‘New Smart Object via Copy’. This will make this a new smart object so you can add a different design. You will need to delete the old smart object layer.

Note: If you duplicate any of the Arch shapes then you will need to make sure the new smart object via copy layer is clipped to the paper layer underneath. To do this right click on that layer and select ‘create clipping mask’. This is so the design takes on the shape of the rounded corners of the paper. See Below.

For the ‘Arch’ shapes, the new smart object will need to be ‘clipped’ to the layer below. This is shown by the small down arrow next to the thumbnail of the layer.
